Believe ne when Isay that I have literally spent thousands of dollars of my own money and used a considerable amount of personal vacation and holiday time to attend classes. I have very little time left to use of my own. So we will be left behind as a department. Personally, I stay up to date on my training requirements and I bring what I learn back so that my company can at least be aware of things going on out there
I am on Cincinnatis Haz-Mat team but my dept does not and will not pay OT for classes or anything else. And Honestly we have members that I think would participate if we got support from our dept. But such is life in these here parts
They have been from Cincinnati but apparently they were not from Cincinnati Fire. I am on Limited Duty and assigned to the Operations Bureau and noone knew what I was talking about. Can you give me some more info about the meeting?
